About Bayshore
Bayshore sits on land reclaimed from the 1960s onwards. Large condos were built along Bayshore Road from the 1980s, starting with Bayshore Park (1986).
Bayshore MRT opened on 23 June 2024 on the Thomson–East Coast Line. It was planned under the name Bedok Jetty, and was one of Singapore's first stations with underground bicycle parking.
The government plans around 7,000 new HDB flats in the Bayshore area over the coming years.
