About Bedok Town Centre
The town centre grew around Bedok Bus Interchange, which opened in 1979 together with New Upper Changi Road. Bedok MRT on the East West Line followed in 1989.
The old interchange closed in 2011 so the site could be rebuilt as Bedok Mall with Bedok Residences above it. The new Bedok Integrated Transport Hub opened on 30 November 2014.
Bedok Beacon added 3 HDB blocks on Bedok North Drive in 2021, and Sky Eden@Bedok, a 158-unit mixed-use project at Bedok Central, is due in 2027.
